When you sign up for Netmaker, you're eligible for a 2-week free trial of our service. To get started, you just need to sign in, and then follow these instructions.

1. Choose your instance type

sign-up-2

A "tenant" is an instance of a Netmaker server, which is used to manage and automate your VPN. You can deploy a tenant on our cloud (SaaS) or use your own infrastructure (On-Prem). For most use cases, we recommend SaaS, to avoid having to install and manage the server yourself.

If you'd like to learn more about the differences, you can check out this guide.

2. Add name and region

sign-up-3

Give your tenant a name (your business name is usually a good idea, or your use-case). Then, select a region for your "Managed Endpoint" (SaaS only). Managed Endpoints are nodes you can use to route traffic into, out of, and between the machines in your network. They're very helpful!

3. Add payment details

sign-up-4

Add a plan (Monthly or Yearly), and a payment method via Stripe. Don't worry, you won't be charged until after the trial ends, so you have 2-weeks to cancel.

Netmaker has tier-based pricing, determined by your usage level. You can view the tiers here.

3. Review and Create

sign-up-6

Review the information you've added before clicking "Create Tenant."

4. Manage Your Instance

sign-up-7

Your new instance will appear in your Tenants dashboard. You may need to use the Refresh (1) button to check on it's Status (2). It may take 1-2 minutes before your instance is initialized.

After that, you can Login (3). You also have a Tenant Management (4) dashboard where you can see the billing and usage, invite users to your instance, or delete the tenant.
