Secure Connectivity Anywhere: Netmaker's Mobile Apps

We just released our highly anticipated iOS and Android apps to help you and your team members manage resources on the go, without compromising on security. 

You can choose to give your team members a remote access gateway which grants access to internal resources, or an internet gateway, which offers internet access through a secure VPN connection.

Remote access gateways are like a private tunnel that only gives you access to your internal network resources. This is perfect for keeping your sensitive data safe and sound within your org’s secure network. 

On the flip side, internet gateways are like a regular VPN service, allowing you to access the internet through a secure connection. You can now choose which gateway to give your team members – the remote access gateway for internal resources or the internet gateway for that extra layer of security when browsing.

With these options, you can ensure your team has the tools they need to work securely and efficiently, no matter where they are. 

Download the apps

First you want to download the Netmaker RAC app, it’s available on the App Store (iOS) and Google Play Store (Android). 

iOS

Once you’ve opened the app, you’ll need your server name and login info.

Next, you’ll see a screen with available networks: 

When you click on the network you want, you’ll get the option to toggle the VPN on. 

You will then have to allow a new VPN configuration: 

And finally, you should see the Netmaker VPN.

After that, you’re ready to go - your traffic is secure.

Android 

The setup on Android looks the same - you’ll see a login screen and you need your server name, username and password. 

Once you’re logged in, you’ll see the available networks: 

Choose the network you want and you’ll see something like this, you can connect to the desired gateway.

And you're ready to go!
